Foam doesn’t clean; brushing with our patented formula does. Many people are sensitive to foaming agents, and foam isn’t needed for the clean, so we offer both. Our foaming formulas use a mild, coconut-derived foaming agent called sodium cocoyl isethionate (not SLS). Our non-foaming formulas (Peppermint, Mild Peppermint and Kids+) skip it entirely.

Yes. LIVFRESH has undergone independent, third-party toxic metal testing using ED-XRF (energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence), which can detect heavy metals down to parts-per-million. Our gel toothpastes came back non-detectable for arsenic, lead, mercury and cadmium.

Our gels use natural flavoring ingredients (like peppermint, menthol, wintergreen and bubblegum) for taste, not added fragrance. For the mildest flavor, try Mild Peppermint.

Yes. We’re committed to responsible sourcing. Our products are cruelty-free, vegan and proudly made in the USA. If you have a specific sourcing question, we’re happy to look into it.

• Apply a pea-sized amount to a wet or dry brush.
• Don’t wet the brush after applying. The gel is water-soluble and will dissolve off the bristles.
• Spread the gel across all your teeth, then brush at a 45-degree angle with a soft-to-medium brush for 2 minutes (about 30 seconds per quadrant). Don’t forget the backs of your teeth and your tongue.
• Rinse as normal.

Tips:

• Store the tube on its cap so the gel sits at the tip.
• Works with manual and electric brushes. With an electric brush, spread the gel across your teeth first, then switch it on.
• Each tube lasts about 4–6 weeks with twice-daily use.

• First brush: run your tongue over your teeth. They should feel noticeably smoother and cleaner.
• Morning breath: brush with LIVFRESH at night and notice how your breath feels the next morning.
• Over the following weeks: teeth that stay cleaner for longer between brushings, fresher breath, and less buildup over time.
• With Gum Protect+: you may see less pink in the sink over time.
• At your next cleaning: your hygienist may notice the difference!

Store at room temperature, out of direct sunlight, in a dry place, and secure the cap after each use. No special storage is required.

If you receive the tube in a cold winter or hot summer, keep it at room temperature for 6 hours before opening.

• Fluoride-free gels: made with safe ingredients for the whole family, with adult supervision for young children. Kids+ and Mild Peppermint are safe to swallow, and our non-foaming formulas are made with safe, food-grade ingredients.
• Gum Protect+: for adults and children 12 years of age and older. Do not swallow. Children under 12: ask a dentist.
• Mouthwash: for ages 12 and over. Not for children 11 and under.
• Whitening Strips and Mobile System: adult supervision required under 12. Check with your dentist for younger users.

We have a lot of customers who use our Mild Peppermint on their dogs. It’s non-foaming, dye-free, safe to swallow and made with safe, food-grade ingredients, which is why so many pet parents reach for it. Very importantly it does not contain Xylitol which is toxic to dogs and cats. That said, LIVFRESH wasn’t formulated to be a pet toothpaste, so please check with your vet first and start with a very small amount, since some animals can be sensitive to menthol.

From your first brush: your teeth feel noticeably smoother and cleaner, like you just left a professional cleaning. Run your tongue over your teeth: no more fuzzy feeling.

With consistent brushing: LIVFRESH helps keep your teeth cleaner for longer between brushings, and you may notice fresher breath (especially in the morning) and less plaque buildup over time. Brushing with LIVFRESH also helps reduce tartar build-up.
