Hope you and your loved ones are doing well. 

Today, I wanted to take a moment to address the ongoing fires in Los Angeles.

While we can only pray for the fires to be contained, I wanted to personally reach out to let you know that our team is here to support you during this time. 

As a resident of Los Angeles, the Palisades and the city as a whole are very dear to my heart. 

Frankly, it is difficult to express in words the level of devastation that is occurring.

As of this moment, the fires have swept through 39,000 acres, and over 153,000 residents have been given evacuation orders.

I have been hosting friends the past few days who needed to evacuate.

I also have friends who have lost their childhood homes. 

There is ash in the air and grief on the faces of those around us. 

In times like this, we need to come together as a community to support each other. 

While there is no silver lining to such an event, we are getting to witness the beauty of humanity - people opening up their homes to strangers, volunteering at donation centers or as firefighters, and so on.

I want to specifically recognize our First Responders, our Firefighters, and our Media outlets. The only reason LA has a fighting chance is because of people like this.

2. For news, you can track the map of the wildfires on the New York Times and get news updates on CBS.
